June 25 - Dublin

Arrive Dublin and transfer to accessible centrally located hotel. Located off the city's main thoroughfare, O' Connell Street, the Hotel is a short stroll from the very bestinternational shopping, galleries, theatres and of course the cosmopolitan area of Temple Bar. D

June 26 - Dublin

DublinToday we tour the beautiful city of Dublin including a visit to St Patrick’s Cathedral which stands on the oldest Christian site in Dublin where, it is said, the Saint baptized converts to the Christian faith in a well alongside the building. We will visit the Guinness Storehouse which is home to Guinness Stout, the famous black beer with the distinctive creamy head. Arthur Guinness purchased Rainfords Brewery here in 1759 and began brewing his famous “porter”, which is now produced around the world at the rate of more than 10 million glasses each day. BLD

June 27- Dublin

We will spend another glorious day exploring Dublin as we visit Trinity College and Book of Kells.  This College is famed for the great treasures of which it has the honor to be guardian including the Book of Kells, a 9th Century illuminated manuscript. We will also tour the famous Jameson Distillery where beautiful copper stills and other instruments used in the whiskey distillation process can be seen. The tour finishes with a tasting and a whiskey certificate. BLD

June 28 - Dublin/County Wicklow/Dublin

Powerscourt HouseToday we will enjoy a day-trip to County Wicklow to discover the beautiful rolling green hills which have made Ireland so famous. We will also visit one of the world's greatest gardens at Powercourt House situated in the foothills of the Wicklow Mountains. After our time at the gardens, we will continue to the Glendalough Monastic Site which is famed for its beautiful scenery and historic monuments. The early monastic site was founded by St. Kevin in the 6th century and has been a center for pilgrims and visitor since. BLD

June 29 - Dublin/Limerick

We depart Dublin today for our journey to Limerick. Along the way we will stop at Kildare in Tully County where we will visit the Japanese Gardens and Irish National Stud, which promotes Irish livestock and one of the country's major attractions. After visiting Kildare, we will continue to the Rock of Cashel with its well preserved ecclesiastical remains and one of Ireland's most spectacular landmarks. BLD

July 01 - Limerick

LimerickWe tour the major city of Limerick today. Its compact old town is known for medieval-era St. Mary's Cathedral and St. Johns' Square, lined with Georgian townhouses which stand along the River Shannon. We will visit King John's Castle, Bunratty Castle and park where 19th century life is vividly recreated. We will enjoy the tastes, scents, sights and sounds of these enchanting places as we stroll around these historical gems. BLD

 

July 02 - Limerick/Dingle Peninsula/Limerick

We will enjoy a day-tour to the Dingle Peninsula which is a place of intense and shifting beauty. You will be awed by spectacular mountains, long sandy beaches and the staggering splinter-slatted mass of rocks the defines this extraordinary coast.  BLD

July 03 - Limerick/Killarney/Limerick

KillarneyToday will enjoy another day-tour from Limerick to Killarney which is on the northeastern shore of Lough Leane and part of the Killarney National Park. Killarney is home to St. Mary's Cathedral, Ross Castle, Muckross House and Abbey. Our tour will feature time at the Muckross House, gardens and traditional farm which dates back to the 19th century. Beautifully situated beside Muckross Lake, you will enjoy the beautiful gardens and enjoy the three separate working farms each complete with animals, poultry and horse drawn farm machinery. BLD

July 04 - Limerick/Galway

We depart Limerick for Galway today. Along the way we will stop at the Cliffs of Moher which stand more than 600 feet above the wild Atlantic Ocean. The cliffs are home to thousands of seabirds and the view on a clear day is spectacular with Mount Brandon and the Aran Islands often visible on the horizon. We will visit The Burren, with its vast expanse of bare limestone rock, giving a rather moonlike appearance. Stone Age settlers lived in this region more than 3,000 years ago - their wedge shaped tombs, cairns and dolmens can still be seen her today. BLD

July 05 - County Galway

Kylemore AbbeyTo we will discover the most coveted region, Connemara, in County Galway. A particularly beautiful region, appreciated for its patchwork-like scenery of little green fields, never-ending stone walls, thatched cottages and pretty fishing villages. We will also visit Kylemore Abbey which is the only Irish home of the Benedictine Nuns. Built originally as a castle, it is one the best examples of Irish neo-gothic architecture. The estate also features a Victorian Walled Garden. BLD

 

July 06 - Galway

July 07 - Galway/Westport/Galway

Westport HouseToday we will visit Ireland's most significant historical home and premier visitor experience, Westport House. Built in 1730 the house is complete with original antiques, dungeons, wax work displays and two comprehensive educational exhibits. After our day in Westport we will enjoy a traditional Irish dinner show as we enjoy our last evening in Ireland together. The show is at the Trad on the Prom and celebrated the passion of Ireland's past with a contemporary production of world-class music, song and dance. BLD
